Joss has set himself an incredible challenge. His family has been affected by Alzheimer's disease and having learnt more about it, he's come to realise the vital need to find a cure, or at least a way to alleviate the devastating consequences to families. He's also held the ambition to complete a major expedition for some time and now will combine these two aims. Most of the trip has been funded by Joss himself but he has recently had a very successful campaign to raise the final £2000 needed to make the trip possible. He is extremely grateful to all those who gave so generously!
Along the way, he plans to raise lots of money for Alzheimer's Research UK and he would be so grateful if you could help.

Joss Livesey has been seeking a unique and challenging expedition encapsulating his love of adventure, travel and exploration. Just a few months ago he came up with the idea to combine two of his passions, cycling and climbing mountains into one expedition.
In March 2016 Joss will set off on an 8 month journey from Porto, Portugal on a bicycle. A potential world first, Joss' unique and ambitious plan comprises travelling to the very farthest corners of Europe. Joss' 2016 expedition ‘PEDALS2PINANACLES’, involves cycling between the 42 sovereign states of continental Europe and reaching the highest point within each border, either by bike or on foot. Please check out his route and read about his expedition plans here.
